The UNH Thompson School’s Veterinary Technology (VTEC) program invites applications for a Lecturer faculty position. Candidates with professional licensure as a veterinary technician will be considered. The successful candidate will teach a minimum of 20 credit hours per academic year.  The position will also advise students and contribute leadership and visioning to the program and curriculum, including maintenance of existing veterinary equipment.

This is an 88% FTE academic year (9 month) position with benefits. The initial appointment is for three years, potentially renewable.  Strong background in surgery and anesthesia, animal handling and restraint is required.  Preference will be given to candidates with a background in both large and small animal aspects of veterinary medicine.  Qualified applicants must be a Licensed, Certified, or Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT), with an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Technology from an AVMA accredited program.
